Caramel for the Cream

1/4 tin condensed cream

2 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons vanilla sugar

2 tablespoons treacle

In a heavy based pan combine all ingredients til smooth and thickens.

Makes about 8 tablespoons I used half for my scrolls and half for this recipe so approx 80 g for the cream..

Once cooled but soft whip into 550mls pure cream

whip caramel with pure cream to thicken
